Humor

A stand-looking gentleman was upset at the dress of some young people on the street. “Just look at that one,” he barked to a bystander. “Is it a boy or a girl?”

“It’s a girl. She’s my daughter.”

“Oh, forgive me,” apologized the man. “I didn’t know you were her mother.”

“I’m not,” snapped the bystander. “I’m her father.”

An old lady went into a shop which sold glasses. She tried one pair of glasses, and then another pair and another, but none of them seemed to be right. The patient shopkeeper said to the lady after some time, “Now, don’t worry, madam. Everything will be all right in the end. It is not easy to get just the right glasses, you know.” “No, it isn’t” answered the old lady, “And it’s even more difficult when you are shopping for a friend.”
